There is a belief in our society that the world would be better off without religion. They believe that the church is the reason for many wars and that believers are the individuals responsible for a problematic world.
So here is something else to consider, not just as an idea, but as simple truth. A simple truth with all the proof one would need to argue the position. The church, and even many religions in our world, are made up of people with a past. For many of us, our lives were much different before we came to know God. Before we surrendered ourselves to Him, before we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, we were not who we are today.
Speaking for myself, I can proclaim that if I had not come to Jesus there would be another alcoholic, drug user and most likely an abuser of some sort living in our society today. My point is simple...if you remove faith, religion, and God from the believers, we would be a much worse society and our world would be in greater chaos. Send a believer back to the life they lived before and I promise you the world would not be better off. Believers are making a difference simply by living the way we are taught...to the best of our ability!
"Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." "And such were some of YOU: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God!
